BitGo will undergo scheduled maintenance to support the upcoming Polkadot Asset Hub migration. This migration moves core network functions from the Polkadot Relay Chain to the Asset Hub, improving user experience through:
- Lower transaction costs - Greater flexibility in paying fees - Expanded asset support (including stablecoins and NFTs) - Enhanced connectivity to trustless bridges such as Ethereum
Between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM UTC (11 PM - 11 AM PT) on November 4, 2025, BitGo clients may experience temporary interruptions, including:
- Incorrect Balance Display: Wallet balances may temporarily appear inaccurate. Funds remain secure and will automatically refresh once the Asset Hub sync completes. - Transfer Pauses / Failures: Deposits and withdrawals may be unavailable. This applies to all wallet types, including Go Accounts.
No action is needed for users of Hot wallets, Custodial Cold wallets, Self-custody Cold wallets, or Go Accounts. We recommend not to perform deposits or withdrawals during this window.
